Eric and Kathy

This morning I did something that I am still chuckling about to myself.

I listen to the Eric and Kathy Show every morning on my way to work. They are light and entertaining with a mix of good music. Like any other radio show, they do bits that require listeners to call in. From time-to-time, I have tried to call, but always reach a busy signal. (For those of you that I call when traffic is bad at night, now you can imagine how board I get in the morning.)

At any rate, they were doing some bit about couples that have been together for a long time, but not married. I immediately dialed… ok, speed dialed. Yes, the number is saved in my phone! I actually heard RINGING on the other end! WOW! Some guy answered and asked me some random questions that I don’t remember right now. I was all excited. He asked me to stay on the line, turn off my radio and placed me on hold. I waited a few minutes when he picked up again. He asked me what my name is.

I told him Julia. JULIA… where did that come from! Who is Julia? Why is she in my head? I don’t even know a Julia! What is going on?

He asked me to hold again. He them came back about 45 seconds later and said that another caller had been selected for the bit. I thanked the gentleman and hung up. Julia… who is this person? The bit turned out to be about cooking chicken… something that I had no interest in doing… but who is Julia?

I still don’t know the answer to that, but I think that it will make me chuckle for the rest of the day!
