I like to think that I can hold my own at a number of tasks. Knowing how to get from point A to point B is definitely NOT one of them.
As I have mentioned to everyone, my commute home is difficult at best. By way of example, my commute home took 2.5 hours! I travel 40 miles.
Last night I was sitting on the “expressway.” I had been in the car for 40 minutes and had moved 2 miles. I took the next exit. I was on the phone with a friend at the time. Fortunately, she foresaw my issue.
She was on the computer telling me where and when to turn… that was consistently the opposite way that I would have turned if I were left on my own. In the end I arrived home 15 minutes earlier than I had the night before.
Why am I so directionally challenged? I have always been this way. Why have I not developed this skill? I do not know. My only reasoning is that portion of my brain did not develop. I do not know if that is true or not, but I like to think that it is true.
I have been told many times that I should get GPS for my car. Probably true. Perhaps I can get one imbedded into my brain. Hmm…I wonder if my insurance would cover that? Probably not my health insurance, but perhaps my car insurance. If I found my way home quickly, I would be on the road less and thereby reduce the chance of an accident. Hmm… I wonder how I can request that?

Have you looked at the map of the area yet? I only saw ONE Willow Road.
This is a hint - who is on to get her a GPS for Christmas? Ha!
