B-4

We went to a local festival… typical carnival food, quazi- circus acts, vendors selling anything under the sun… and a bingo tent.

We sat down, ponied up our dollar for 3 cards. And the numbers were flying. What a blast! The winner of each round received half of the proceeds, with the balance going to the village. Everybody wins!

Two and a half hours later, the game was over. Darn! I wasn’t done yet.

Fast-forward 24 hours to Sunday afternoon. My husband was changing my oil. I had an itch to play again. We decide to go again… we meet some friends there.

To my surprise… they didn’t want to play bingo! Who doesn’t want to play bingo! They left… nice to see them, but we are here on a mission.

We sit down and ponied up 2 dollars for 6 cards… time to upgrade! Hours later they announce that the next game will be the last. LAST! How can it be the last? We have come so close to winning, with no luck. The numbers are called out… we look and look.

BINGO!

Shouts come from the people sitting across from us. The game is over, but the need is only beginning. I have to find a place to play… me, my husband and hundreds of 80-year-old women. I can hardly wait!

I was shocked to see no other reference to bingo when the title was B-4, but hey I am glad you had a blast!

I was actually thinking that you were going to end the story with you winning on the last game when they called non-other than B-4. Man that would have been unbelievable...perhaps that's why it didn't happen.
