Multiplying Like Bunnies

It is official… I have one residence! As we trudged up and down the stairs, I could only wonder where all of this stuff came from… I remember obtaining most of it… some of it… not so much.

I have a theory… belonging multiply exponentially.

Example:
When I moved to Chicago I did not own a bed… not a single mattress. I slept on a pile of blankets for a significant amount of time. Eventually, I purchased a lovely twin-sized bed… with bedding that I previously owned.

For a long period of time, I owned the twin-sized bed. I added a futon and other pieces of furniture along the way.

Then the king-sized bed arrived… with all of its accompanying pieces of furniture. Most of it fit into the bedroom… not all of it. And the twin-sized bed was relegated to the spare bedroom. (The mere fact that I had a spare room blew my mind. But I digress.)

Now we are in (technically, although not actually) a 3-bedroom house. We have 2 twin beds, 1 queen and a king… with the accompanying furniture. This is crazy! Where did all of this come from? Why do we have it? Where do we put it? Oh the humanity!

Ok... so it's not that big of a deal. But seriously, we have A LOT of stuff! Make way for the garage sale...
