It was late one recent December evening. Six people were decending in an elevator at an upscale shopping mall. The elevator stopped on the second floor. A woman with a surly demeanor lugged her numerous bags and boxes of Christmas presents inside, joining the others on their way to the first floor. The elevator doors began to close, but stopped as it began to crush her most elaborate gift.
"Whoever invented Christmas should be shot!" the woman exclaimed in frustration.
A petite man in the back of the elevator responded immediately in a flat voice,
"Don't worry. They already crucified him."
