Moving right along in the "Stages of Grief." I am now very angry and feel betrayed.
Angry because they knowingly put me in this situation. Knowingly! I will never sacrifice my job over someone else's stupidity. How dare they put me in a situation where I have to make that choice.
A real friend would never do that to another.

The line between work and friends at work can easily be crossed. Our positions almost require us to never allow ourselves to become friends with other employees. This of course is hard to do since we're only human! However we know what the reality is with our postions. At the end of the day we have to make tough decisions, sometimes it includes the ones we like. Sorry your caught in a tough spot.
