We had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with some close friends and attend the Lake County, Indiana fair.
I appreciate the fair a lot more now than I did as a kid. The goats, pigs, etc just bring back a nostalgic time for me. Of course, there is something to be said for fair food. I mean “fair” in the sense of the event as well as the quality… but that’s how it is.
We (I mean “I”) ate my way through the fairgrounds. Sweet corn (my only semi-healthy snack) dipped in butter and salted, cotton candy, ice cream, bratwurst, funnel cake and deep-fried oreos (Thanks T).
I feel a little sick just looking at that list, but it was SO much fun! Of course, good company only makes good food even better. YUMMY!!!

deep-fried oreos?...I've never heard of such things.
Deep fried oreos are actually pretty tasty. They end up like little cakes. If you have the means... worth the time.
We all woke up feeling hung over! I said to F, it was all the yummy crap we ate at the Fair!!
Who would of thought fried oreos would be so amazing. Can't wait for next year.
C'mon - deep fried anything is tasty. I must stay away!
