Dispite fundamental objections, I have decided to join the masses and make the adjustment... I am now Bluetooth-enabled.
Why am I so hesitant? I don't want to turn into an ear-piece wearing, self-absorbed, clueless individual so tied into my phone that a part of it actually becomes a part of my body. Unfortunately, I have taken one more step closer to that realization.
Oh well, evidently my countless hours on the phone while driving necessitated this change... or at least made my arguement to avoid it very fruitless.
And so, I am responsible for one more piece of equipment. One more thing to plug in. One more thing...

I am so excited for you! You will not become one of those obsessed people! But you will enjoy the freedom of your hands while you are driving! For that reason only they should be mandatory.
yeah its probably very necessary for all the talking on the phone while driving...though watch out so that it doesn't become attached to your ear.
Sometimes old technology is bliss. When you were not next to a land line you couldn't be reached. So you are disconnected to the rest of the world. But on the other had new technology is great for the same reasons but when you are trying to get intouch with someone else. We have to take the good with the bad.
Welcome to our group!! You will love it. I must say it's very handy to have bluetooth. Not to mention the safety issue. I will sleep better at night knowing one more person has two hands on the wheel.
