Inside Out

So you've seen the outside view, now we can see the internal view:

Pretty, huh? As you can see, he's got a metal plate on the outer ankle, stabilized by 5 small screws. (That contraption can be removed in the future if he ever feels overly uncomfortable.)

Then you can see the two large screws holding his heel together. Those screws are permanent.

Now he has a nifty little "Implant ID Card" for airports and such. On the back of which has the above picture. Crazy!
