The day is sunny and bright... the line was fairly long at 6:15am... and we have cast our votes.
The beginning of the day prehaps previews what the end will bring... long battles and democracy in action. For all of the struggles and shortcomings, this is a great nation in which we are invited to participate.

I was impressed I got up and voted before work! It has to be a personal record for me. There is some sense of pride to wear my "I voted" sticker.

Amen ladies. I'm headed to the polls after work - can't wait to get there. Voting is one of the best feelings, I say.
