Meet Essie

First off, let me just say that we had NO intention of purchasing a vehicle. The economy is less than ideal, etc, etc.

However, since my car has more than 162,000 miles on it, it was time to start thinking ahead. We had done our research and knew that we wanted a Ford Escape. We knew the features that we needed/ wanted. We knew what we didn't want.

After a lot of discussion, negotiating, evaluating, etc... let me introduce you to Essie, my new ride!

She's a 2006 black Ford Escape, 4WD, free of scratches (really remarkable how well this was kept). The Carfax report was clean. It's a great vehicle that we're all excited about.

She has an appointment this evening for new brakes and a couple of other items that the dealership agreed to handle. After that... it's all ours!
