So, as I had previously mentioned, today was "award day" for me.
I dread this stuff. I much rather be the person on the sideline who gives out the awards, not someone who receives one. But, in this case, someone decided to give me one.
Why?
I still don't have a good answer for that. The local school districts annually recognize companies who partner with the schools to give their students exposure to career opportunities. We have partnered with one of the schools and the selected us, or me, as the case may be.
My boss was in attendance. They gave a brief description of my education, dating back to high school, and then my career. They had a plaque, which is now on my office wall. I guess a picture is coming. I don't know when that will be.
At any rate, it's over. Did I mention that I dread this stuff?

Congratulations! It is always an honor to be recongnized for what we do in life. It maybe a lttle embarassing to you but that only showing what kind of character you are made of.
