8 Random Facts About Me

I have been tagged by Kate. (Sorry it took so long to respond. I didn't understand what "tagging" was. Anyway, here it goes.

THE RULES:1. Post these rules before you give you the facts. 2. List eight (8) random facts about yourself. 3. At the end of your post, choose (tag) eight people and list their names (linking to them). 4. Leave them a comment on their blog letting them know they’ve been tagged!8 Random Facts About Me.

1. I had to quit college to find my career. I was a pre-law student (or so I liked to think) when I figured out that I had no business being at college. I was no there for the right reasons and did not belong. So I dropped out. I ended up taking a job as a hostess at a huge restaurant. I loved it. I decided to obtain a degree in Hospitality Management. I learned a lot.

2. I don’t mind driving long distances… just as long as I am actually moving. Thus my frustrations with my current commute.

3. I am naturally an introverted person. I would much rather be by myself… or with a choice person or two… then to have a conversation with nearly anyone. I choose to overcome this trait nearly every day.

4. My first car was named “Chopper.” It was the biggest wagon ever! The steering wheel had so much “give” that I had to fully rotate it just to make a 90 degree turn. Near the end, the radio gave out. The only sound that it would make was a putt-putt-putt sound… thus the name.

5. I really do not enjoy drinking alcoholic beverages. Probably a scar from my youth… I would much rather drink a Propel than any alcoholic beverage… especially beer!

6. I chew on the inside of my lower lip when I am thinking. (I am doing this right now as I try to think of a few more facts.) The inside of my lower lip is very scarred and bumpy from all of the chewing.

7. I think that the best church services are held mid-week. These mid-week services are typically held during pre-Easter and pre-Christmas. The people attending them are taking a break from their routine and choosing to worship… usually in addition to the Sunday services. I appreciate the purity of the experience.

8. I love bodily-function humor. Bring on the bathroom humor. Nothing is ever as funny as a good pooh story!

I guess that is all 8 facts. I think point… sorry Kate… I am going to break the rules. I don’t know 8 people to tag (See fact number 3). But if you are reading this and have your own blog… and you have not yet done this fun exercise… have at it. I found it entertaining.

Omg...I told someone that story the other day and I laughed so hard I peed...although...that happens a lot lately! :)
