Random Acts of Kindness

The windchill was -30 degrees. A guy and his young son were transporting wood planks. They had tied the wood to the top of their van. The wind combined with the pot holes and caused the wood to fall off of the van, onto the road, into traffic. Many people drove past the 2 as they tried to gather their items. My husband stopped and helped them. The guy asked how he could pay my beloved. He simply answered "Commit a random act of kindness for someone that you don't know."

The act did not cost much... a few minutes... freezing temps... and a smile. What a great example!

Commit a random act of kindness... hold the door for the weak, take one more step to assist. It won't cost much, but can pay off in big ways.

Too many times we are in such a hurry that random acts of kindness do not happen as they should. Way to go to your hubby!
