My new boss started today. She's fine, but there is still the "feeling out" period. Of course, those of us with any connections, tried to get some information about her prior to her arrival. Collectively, we achieved moderate success.
I am not a fan of the "adjustment period"... the one where both parties are trying to figure out how to function together. Knowing that there will be other bosses and that this "relationship" is probably temporary. It's like dating someone for the first time. Awkward, intimidating, exhausting.
This too will pass!
