Congratulations Red Wings on your victory! I was thinking about when we were kids and we would go to large sporting events. I remember one instance very specifically. It was a moment of clarity for me.
I was about 14 years old. My dad had taken myself and my brother to a basketball game. I believe that one of my dad's friends may have also been driving with us.
The parking lot was always so full and chaotic when we left. At some point, someone "cut off" my dad while he was trying to get in line to exit.
"Kids" he said, "give them the bird."
We did.. each with both barrels. Picture it... 2 kids, 4 hands, all with their middle fingers up and waving at some random driver.
Of course, we had no idea what we were communicating. My dad's friend certainly found the whole scene hysterical. It was in that instant that I had a "moment of clarity." We were doing something that would otherwise be unacceptable. Funny!

Wow...that is hilarious! I wish it was video-taped. :)
Too funny! I can see your dad saying that!
BOY RENEE, I KNOW YOUR DAD, AND I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT HE WOULD TELL YOU TO DO THAT!! HA HA
:) Wow if I got flipped off by two little kids I would probably laugh uncontrollably. The funny thing is I only remember that thru the retelling of the story and not the actual event. I suppose it wasn't a moment of clarity for me.
hahahaha- what a great story!
where was I? Always a funny story..
