I enjoy my little blog. I write for one reason... entertainment. I entertain myself, and on occasion, I hope I entertain someone else. I enjoy checking back on my posts to see if there are any comments. Basically, I just want to know if anyone was entertained enough to make the effort to respond. Nothing more... Nothing less.
I also check in on a few other blogs. I read. I move on. A few weeks ago I decided to cease commenting. Basically, I read an entry of someone that I know and I was offended at the post. Not their fault. It's their entry and they can write whatever they want. I thought about commenting and then decided that if I had anything of value to say, I should call them directly rather than respond on a public site.
I decided that I have nothing of value to say and so I did not call. No comment.
So, weeks later, I am still stewing in my own confusion and frustration. I've become more sensitive towards this person.
Lesson #3: A late comment is better than no comment.

Perhap I should comment on a post entitled "no commment", but hey I'm always one to throw in my two cents. Personally if I had offended someone on my blog I would appreciate them saying something to me. I have no desire to offend anyone with what I write, so if I happen to I would like the chance to apologize.
I also think that it is wise to think through what you want to say, so waiting a bit before responding probably isn't bad.

To say something is also important since reproof is how we learn and gain understanding.
