Worth the Wait

After 20 years of waiting, I was finally able to see New Kids on the Block in concert. To cut to the chase... it was the best concert I have ever been to! I am sure some of that is because of the built-up in my mind, but most of it was the 2 solid hours of screaming, singing, dancing and (mostly) laughing! Laughing at the crowd who, like me, wanted to re-live their pre-teen years and laughing at the fact that the (really bad) dancing was the exact same as 20 years ago.

Here are some pictures:

My ticket... I'll save it forever.

The crowd. If you look closely, you might be able to see a couple men. Not surprisingly, most of the crowd was women between 30-33 in age. The high-pitched screaching was very funny!

The main stage. Just as dramatic and cheezy as the first time around... exactly what I was hoping for!

New Kids on the Block. Just as cool as ever.
