Light & Refreshing

Late Saturday night we decided to go bowling. Neither of us are all that good, but why not, right? It took a couple of tries to find an open lane, but we were eventually successful.

The first 2 games were pretty standard... we tried, mostly with little success, to get the silly pins down.

Then the 3rd game began. We decided to have our own version of "cosmic bowling." Each frame presented its own challenge:

Eyes Closed
Skipping
Left-Handed
Granny-Style
Through our spouse's legs
On one leg
And the list continued... It was a LOT of fun. We haven't laughed that hard in quite some time. The interesting part is that our scores were not that much different from the regular games.

On the way home, my husband turns to me and says, "Do you know what one of the best parts about being married is? We don't have to worry about looking silly. Other people were watching us and we just didn't care what they thought."

Great point! Couldn't agree more!

PS: I definitely bowled better as a lefty. We'll have to go again to test my theory.
